The pressure systems Safety Regulations 2000 is a legal requirement which requires users and owners of any size pressure system to certify that they know the safe operating parameters of their pressure system. This legislation also covers the ongoing maintenance plans to ensure the pressure system keeps within its operating limits.

Pressurised operating systems, such as compressed air systems, play a pivotal role in the daily running of many industries across the world and the failure of a pressure system can lead to serious damage, injury or even death. It is vital that you have your pressure system regularly certified and tested to ensure optimum and safe working conditions.

One of the leading causes of pressure system failure is poor and irregular maintenance. The HSE regulations now state that all owners of a pressurised system are legally obliged to have their equipment serviced regularly and must have a Written Scheme of Examination.
